The Ulster Museum's interactive Discovery centres - Discover Art, Discover Nature & Discover History - offer a unique and exciting learning experience to people of all ages!
This summer, you can take part in a variety of exciting fun, family-orientated activities designed to spark your creativity and help you connect with our collections!
Create your very own 'Lost Monster' in Discover Nature, inspired by our 'Wild Ireland: Past, Present, Future' exhibition.
Make your own origami animal, also inspired by Wild Ireland, in Discover Art! Take inspiration from creatures, past and present, as and take your design home with you.
Design your own badge or sketch out a shoe in Discover History, inspired by our Inclusive Global Histories exhibition. Please note, badge making will take place on Saturdays & Sundays from 11:00 to 12:00 & 14:00 to 15:00 in August.
Drop into our Discovery Centres between 10:00 and 16:30 to join in.
Our summer activities are suitable for all ages and family-friendly. Children under 12 are to be accompanied by an adult.
Our Discovery Centres are open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00 and are free to visit on Levels 1, 3 and 5. Closed Mondays.
Our summer activities in the Discovery Centres are free to join, no booking needed.
